📢 TALK OF THE TOWN

Beaches, Bands & Brews is all set for August 9th
If you didn’t know, the city of Plymouth has been hosting their free Summer Beach Series and they’re wrapping it up with the Beaches, Brands & Brews event on August 9th.
The event will be held at East Medicine Lake Park (location below) from 6-9 p.m.
They will be featuring live music from Sawyer’s Dream (a unique cross-blending of Americana, Pop, Rock, and Soul).
You can also enjoy some time on the beach and the yard games they’ll have available as well.
Food and drinks are going to be available, too. Vendors include: D’s Kitchen, The Pork Chop Guys, Rock Elm Tavern and Luce Line Brewery (noms).
Make sure you bring some cold hard cash, or your credit card for purchases and throw your lawn chairs or blankets in the car for seating as well.

Plymouth Old Town Hall is re-opening on August 3rd!
The city is holding an open house to celebrate the re-opening of the historical building from 11-2 on 8/3.
There will be a brief welcome and a ceremonial door opening, and after that, the public is welcome to take a look around, grab some grub from the food truck that will be on-site, engage in history activities, or head outside for some lawn games.
The event itself is free, but you’ll need to bring some funds if you plan on grabbing anything from the food truck
Following the opening on August 3rd, Old Town Hall will be open 11-2 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as the first Saturday of every month.
You can stop by anytime to learn more about the history of Plymouth and check out the story time events they plan to host for elementary-age kiddos.

Food trucks for days.
One of the best parts of Minnesota summers is the food truck scene.
Here’s a low-down on where your favorite Twin Cities food trucks will be this week in Plymouth:
Hana Bistro: July 25 — Luce Line Brewing, 4-8:30 p.m.
June Bug Carolina Flare: July 24 — Luce Line Brewing, 4-8 p.m.
Pizza Karma: July 26 & July 27 — Hilde Performance Center 4-10 p.m.

🍟 RESTAURANT FEATURE OF THE WEEK: THE GROCER’S TABLE

“A curated grocer, cafe, and bar.”
Known for their warm environment, The Grocer’s Table has really become a go-to restaurant for many in the Wayzata & Plymouth area.
The concept includes a lot of really cool elements. Not only is the food amazing, but they also tout a market and wine & cocktail bar.
The owner, Lindsay Pohlad, says that the menu is inspired by recipes that she’s developed for her own family that have become favorites over the years, that she is now sharing with others.
Those are some lucky test subjects, am I right?
The Grocer’s Table offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner (with plenty of gluten-free options), a full coffee bar, and a drink menu that won’t dare leave you thirsty.
