Plymouth seeks residents to power energy action plan.
Calling all eco-warriors, energy enthusiasts, and community-minded Plymouth residents: the city needs your voice! Plymouth is assembling the Energy Action Plan Team, and this is your chance to be part of something impactful.
The city is looking for 15-20 community members to join a series of workshops from February to September. Together, this team will create a strategic plan focused on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and making energy-related info accessible to everyone.
What You’ll Do
Brainstorm and develop practical energy goals.
Encourage the community to adopt simple but effective changes, like insulating windows, upgrading appliances, or even installing solar panels.
Make a real impact on Plymouth’s environmental future.
“This is a great opportunity to get involved at the local level,” said Plymouth Environmental Stewardship Coordinator MK Anderson. “This group is designed to have real impact and outline action items for environmental benefit.”
What’s the Commitment?
The team will meet every six weeks for 2-3 hours (February through September).
How to Get Involved
The Energy Action Plan will be developed through the Partners in Energy program, a collaboration between Xcel Energy, Center for Energy and Environment, and the City of Plymouth.
Ready to make a difference? Apply now to join the Energy Action Plan Team. Applications are due by Friday, Jan. 31.
Let’s work together to create a cleaner, greener future for Plymouth!
